Is adoption permanent?
Yes. Once placed, the child becomes permanently and legally a member of the adoptive family with full rights to inheritance and a lifetime family relationship. Open adoptions are also an option for you. This way, you can have regular contact with your child while he or she is being raised in an adoptive home. You get to choose the family and the type of adoption that is best for your child.
